Bang Bang Chicken Skewers
Seasoned chicken bites brushed with a sweet chili-mayo sauce that’s so good, you'll want to double or triple the recipe!
Ingredients
CHICKEN SKEWERS:
- 2 chicken breasts cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- Olive oil for drizzling
BANG BANG SAUCE:
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1/4 c. Thai sweet chili sauce
- 2 cloves garlic pressed
- Juice of 1/2 lime
- 1/4 tsp. Sriracha optional
- 1 pinch red pepper flakes
- Cooked basmati rice for serving
Instructions
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 10-15 minutes. Cut the chicken into bite-size pieces and place in a bowl.
- In a small bowl, whisk together spices and pour over the chicken. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken and toss to coat.
- Thread the chicken onto wooden skewers. Place them in the air fryer and cook at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Carefully, flip the chicken over and cook for another 8-10 minutes more.
- Meanwhile, make the bang bang sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, chili sauce, garlic, lime juice, Sriracha if using, and red pepper flakes. Brush over the chicken skewers.
- Serve skewers over buttered basmati rice and enjoy!
